Việt Nam to meet Thailand in semi-finals

Việt Nam will meet Thailand in the semi-finals of the Asian Women’s U23 Volleyball Championship in Thailand today.

Việt Nam celebrates winning over Kazakhstan at the Asian Women’s U23 Volleyball Championship in Thailand yesterday. —


Việt Nam defeated Kazakhstan 25-19, 25-20 and 25-14 in the knock-out quarter-finals yesterday at Mall Nakhon Ratchasima’s MCC Hall.

The quarter-final match also saw the superior performance of attacker Trần Thị Thanh Thúy, who helped Việt Nam reach the semi-finals.

THailand are expected to win the title at this year’s event, however the Vietnamese girls’ team might offer a surprise at the event.
