Stretching from Pham Ngoc Thach street to Nguyen Thi Minh Khai street, the calligraphy street is eye-catching with vibrant yellow apricot blossoms decorated at dozens of stalls. This year, the number of stalls along the calligraphy street has increased by 20 percent compared to last year, serving increasing demand of locals and visitors in the southern hub ahead of the traditional festival.

Calligraphy street draws visitors to not only ask for blessing words, but also experience beautiful traits of Vietnamese tradition. Calligraphy has developed in line with the fast-paced development of society. Yet, its traditional traits remain unchanged.

Calligraphy street opens until the 30th of the last lunar month (Feb.4). Until then, it is expected to welcome locals and visitors to experience a distinctive cultural trait of Vietnam during Tet holiday.
